Julia started working with us in April of 2023. She has always had a passion for hair and makeup that began in early childhood. Her love for the industry took her from styling friends’ hair and makeup at the age of 16. She followed her dreams and started cosmetology school at Empire in late 2015, after graduating from Barrington High School. She became licensed in RI & MASS. in early 2017 and started working at Supercuts. After mastering her skills in men’s and women’s cuts, she took a few months off to be a stay at home mom to her now 6 year old son, Cole. Julia went back to working in late 2019, but with children cutting hair! Shortly after she took on a second job at a Salon/Spa in East Providence where she serviced clients with color, highlights, nails, light to dramatic makeup (including strip lashes), and created updos and makeup looks for multiple weddings and special events. When the adult salon closed in 2023, she remained cutting kids’ hair at Kids Adventure Kutz in Warwick part-time and is now a part of our team! Julia is a kind, soft-spoken, yet confident, and passionate woman who is always eager to learn new techniques to help her clients feel and look like the best versions of themselves. She strives to listen closely to her clients’ needs and feels that the consultation is the most important part of the service, besides performing the latest trends and skills emerging in the beauty industry. Julia believes that your image and the way you feel are very connected, making your routine hair and special event makeup services crucial for people who want to feel good inside and out! When Julia is not working,  she enjoys spending time with her 6 year old son and partner, going on hikes, traveling, shopping, playing with makeup, and listening to music or going to karaoke! She will even offer a makeup lesson to you in addition to your application (for an additional fee) for you to recreate an everyday look that is easy enough to do in 10 minutes!
